During the sitting of the Committee it was declared that the Bill (Reg.№4814) envisages defining of the state policy and principles of the organic production, authority of management bodies in this sphere, common standards of the production, recycling and realization of organic production etc.
During the discussion, the Committee members expressed certain remarks to the Bill. In particular it was stressed that the Bill did not contain clearly defined norms concerning either organic production or its production. According to the people´s deputies, given definitions do not reveal the terms main sense and in the bill text only by-law structure is detailed.
The people´s deputies deem all the procedures in the bill are registered with no account taken of the effective legislation that regulates the issues on food products quality, products certification, sanitarian and epidemic welfare of the citizens, veterinarian medicine etc.
As a result of the scrutiny the Committee resolved to recommend the profile committee return the bill to the legislative initiative law subject for the adjusting.
